On April 10, 2010, I went to the best place, ever.

Literally—I went to BaconFest Chicago, 2010.  An all-day festival of bacon, though recommended attendance is the half-day ticket because last year, porcine-diehards struggled to consume a day’s worth of bacon.  Now, I consider myself a true lover of bacon, with Fridays’ being my favorite day of the week not because of the burgeoning weekend, but because on Friday, I get bacon grilled cheese.

It’s really the simple things.
